Welcome to Château Grand Marnier. We had the pleasure of visiting the iconic home of Grand Marnier in Bourg-Charente, France recently; exploring the distillery (and tasting the stores of the cellar) to learn about the history and method of creating fine Cognac. The 13th Century chateau makes a suitably grand setting for this jewel created by Louis Alexandre in 1880, but the real treasure lies in the underground "paradis" where the oldest Cognacs are rested. Watch for more about our Cognac region visit in a future issue of the magazine. Looking for a curated Canadian cocktail to add to your Canada Day long weekend plans?
