If you’re a fan of Gwyneth and her lifestyle brand Goop, you’ll want to check out the latest addition to the skincare lineup: Clean Nourishing Lip Balm
Described as an “ultra-moisturizing clean lip balm with a creamy, smooth-gliding texture” it’s dermatologist-approved and made with rich botanical oils—coconut, argan, castor seed, jojoba, and sunflower—plus pomegranate extract and shea butter for ultimate nourishment.
“We worked on this balm for three whole years—not kidding!” says GP (the acronym used by Paltrow’s friends). The ultimate clean lip balm was something of a holy grail for us here at goop, and we didn’t stop until this one finally emerged from the ashes of the many not-quite-it versions.”
“There’s so much we wanted to get right: It had to be super cushy and nourishing. It had to feel amazing and perform ever better. It had to have the perfect slip, the perfect finish, a subtle scent, just a whisper of a taste, the softest glide,” she says. “Your senses really engage with whatever you put on your lips.” We also consume much of whatever we put on our lips (and we absorb some, too), making highest-quality clean ingredients more important than ever. Sourcing those incredible ingredients led us to a formula that’s particularly powerful for chapped, cracked, or dry lips. “It’s full of amazing oils and shea butter,” says GP. “My lips really get dry in the winter especially, and this balm soothes and moisturizes like nothing else.” The satin finish leaves a hint of gleam; it’s also great under a mask. “You don’t get that gloppy lips-stuck-to-mask moment,” she says. “It really is the perfect lip balm.”
The balm is the latest member of the Goopgenes collection, designed to work together to address the five visible signs of skin health to keep it nourished, smooth, firm, even-toned, and glowing. The collection includes All-in-One Nourishing Face Cream, All-in-One Nourishing Eye Cream, Nourishing Repair Body Butter and Marine Collagen Superpowder
Goopgenes Clean Nourishing Lip Balm launches on December 13 exclusively on goop.com and in store at the goop Lab permanent store in Los Angeles and goop’s permanent hotel retail experiences at Rosewood Miramar Beach in Montecito, California, and Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection on the island of Hawaii.
