GET INTO THE holiday spirit at the Thirsty Elf, Toronto’s newest festive themed cocktail bar opening November 28.

GET INTO THE holiday spirit at the Thirsty Elf, Toronto’s newest festive themed cocktail bar opening November 28. Located in the Fairmont Royal York, the hidden bar will be decked out in Christmas kitsch—so go all out in your tacky light-up reindeer sweater and enjoy a festive cocktail or two.

The limited-time cocktail menu by house mixologist Rus Yessenov includes cheerful creations like “Parched in a Pear Tree,” a fruity tequila-based mix, “Gin-gle All The Way,” with winter spices and “Be Bad for Tito’s Sake,” featuring pomegranate, ginger beer and rosemary (just to name a few).

The bar will only be open for four weekends, Thursday to Saturday, until December 21. Get there early, as this spot doesn’t take reservations. It opens at 6:30 p.m. on the 28th, right after the Fairmont’s annual tree lighting ceremony and window reveal. So, make a night of it and immerse yourself in holiday merriment!
