On the heels of being named as one of Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants in the recently released 2023 edition, Café Boulud at Four Seasons Hotel Toronto is welcoming back world-renowned restaurateur Chef Daniel Boulud for a special culinary experience.

On Wednesday, May 31, 2023, Chef Boulud, in collaboration with Café Boulud’s Chef de Cuisine Colin Henderson, will pay homage to the 30-year legacy of the Michelin-starred dining destination Restaurant DANIEL with an evening of unforgettable indulgence. The chefs, and their talented brigades, with prepare a curated menu that highlights the talent and creations that have garnered the establishment’s worldwide acclaim over the past three decades.

A pillar of New York City’s bustling dining scene, DANIEL has become known worldwide for its opulent menu, showcasing culinary specialties infused with European flair. The flagship restaurant remains to set the standard for sophisticated dining experiences and unwavering hospitality.

“It’s with great pleasure that I am bringing a taste and celebration of three decades of Restaurant DANIEL to Toronto,” says Chef Daniel Boulud. “As both restaurants are close to my heart, I look forward to working alongside Chef Colin in the Café Boulud kitchen as we prepare DANIEL classics and toast its 30 years of culinary excellence in New York.”

A five-course tasting menu will offer refined European cuisine with ever-popular dishes available at DANIEL. To begin, enjoy passed canapés, including Beef and Anchovy, Parmesan Baskets and Meyer Lemon and Caviar Pomponette. As the evening commences, the first course will highlight a refreshing Chilled Pea Velouté, followed by Homard aux Morilles et Vin Jaune. Next, Slow Baked Sea Bass with potato boulangère, leek royale, and syrah sauce, and as the final savoury dish, Canard Montmorency with spiced duck, spinach, young turnips, foie gras, and fresh cherry. Each course will be paired perfectly with a wine selection chosen by expert Head Sommelier Anna Jorosz. To conclude the gastronomic affair, dessert takes centre stage with a Wild Blueberry Vacherin.

Chef de Cuisine Colin Henderson and the team at Café Boulud are thrilled to welcome guests in raising a glass to the significant occasion. Those unable to attend the celebrations can look forward to indulging in these menu offerings for a limited time.
